A BULLY PULPIT
Re "D.A. chides L.A. council, says he'll target pot stores," Nov. 18
L.A. County Dist. Atty. Steve Cooley's comments on medical marijuana
are insulting. He sounds like a bully, not a servant of the people.
The laws are not as clear as he contends - but regardless, a more
respectful tone and attitude toward other elected officials would go a
long way toward advancing his case. His demeanor and condescending,
tough-guy stance are an embarrassment to the people of this county.
