MEDICAL MARIJUANA CLUB HOSTING ART AUCTION

The International Hempology 101 Society hosts its seventh annual
silent art auction this Sunday (Nov. 15) at 826 Johnson St.

The auction coincides with the celebration of International Medical
Marijuana Day. All bidding will close at 4:20 p.m., but the rally gets
underway at noon at the Ministry of Health office on the corner of
Pandora Avenue and Blanshard Street.

The City of Victoria has officially declared Nov. 15 International
Medical Marijuana Day since 2002.

The art auction contains 23 pieces from nearly as many artists.
Contributors include David Calles, Virginia Smallfry, Fayaz Kara,
Steve (Walbran) Pittner, Al Cowie, Terry Finnie, Helen Bryes and the
late Paula Hill.

Proceeds from the auction go to a patient in need who has recently
been rendered homeless.
