Re. Jim Cowles' letter "Breckendam," Nov. 9

Way to fall to the hype, Jim. Obviously you believe all the anti-pot
propaganda you've read, but have no personal knowledge or experience
to base it on. Do you believe that people have the right to think for
themselves and the right to make their own informed decisions?
Obviously, 72 percent of your friends, neighbors, and co-workers do.
I've been to Amsterdam and found it to be a city where you can enjoy
fine art, culture, museums, music and pot, all without fear of
persecution. And, if pot made you impotent, as your so-called
"research" shows, I'm pretty sure local schools would already be
empty. Sorry to disappoint you.
