IS MILK A GATEWAY DRUG?
Here I am reading letters to the editor, drinking my coffee with a
splash of cream in it, and then it hit me. I am an addict. I was
puzzled by this and trying to figure how this could have possibly
happened, and there right before my eyes, in print from Joe Canzoneri,
he laid it all on the line. Marijuana leads to cocaine and heroin.
Proposition 215 in 1996 "was a terribly tragic mistake that will be
deeply regretted, primarily because it is addictive and will lead to
the use of harder and more deadly drugs such as cocaine and heroin."
Those are words quoted from his letter, and notice the definitive
words "will lead." He intimated everyone who ended up using cocaine or
heroin, started by using marijuana.
Well, he left out one very important fact that leads to my addiction.
According to Canzoneri's theory, everyone who has done coke or heroin
has done marijuana. Everyone who has done marijuana, every human being
on this planet (yes, I am sure there are a few exceptions) started
down this insidious addictive path by drinking milk.
By the way, Canzoneri forgot, perhaps intentionally, to mention
alcohol and tobacco.
