SPURNING FOOD IS INSANE
I am responding to the refusal of the donation of food offered by the
medical marijuana collectives and dispensaries to Redding Loaves and
Fishes. This is insane.
Why would you turn down the kindness God has impressed upon others?
You sent out a calling for donations and people responded to your
organization; yet you denied God's calling on them? Your compassionate
God told you to turn down the hospitality of others. You can't have it
both ways. What about your beliefs of non-judgment and humility? What
about practicing what you preach?
My 9-year-old son told me this story:
There was a flood and there was a man on his roof of his house and a
boat came by. He was offered a ride to safety in this boat; the man
refused, saying his merciful God would save him. The man drowned. He
then was standing before God and he asked, "Why did you not save me?"
And God said, "I sent you a boat."
