VOTER TURNOUT HIGH IN BRECK FOR MARIJUANA QUESTION
Breckenridge has been the Election Day hot spot in Summit County as
voters decide whether to decriminalize marijuana.
"Here in Breckenridge, it's going really good. They've had a line kind
of all day long," said Diane Thaemert, deputy clerk with Summit County
Elections. "The other centers are medium (to) pretty low."
She said early this afternoon that Dillon's turn-out "wasn't too much;
Silverthorne was medium."
The line in Breckenridge has been at least three or four people deep
for most of the day. Other items on the ballot today include election
of three Summit School Board members as well as tax issues in
Silverthorne and Montezuma.
