LEGALIZATION: BAD IDEA

Columnist Jim Stingl thinks cops should spend their time on more
important things than marijuana enforcement (Page 1B, Aug. 9). Now the
Journal Sentinel prints a column by Kathleen Parker in favor of
legalizing marijuana. Is the Journal Sentinel pro-pot?

Ask any doctor about pain-killing options for the terminally ill, or
look at how things are going where marijuana is less regulated
(California). Seems to me reviewing the paper we do not yet have a
handle on alcohol, given the deaths on the road, yet the paper is
suggesting marijuana legalization.

Think about it.
