ANTI-MARIJUANA ARGUMENTS CRUEL
I want to discuss the situation with the medical marijuana
distribution center. Trying to tell other people that they cannot
easily and readily get substances that will help them to cope with a
most unfortunate and debilitating ailment, is the very thing will
cause problems to arise of which these people who are complaining
about the distributor center are fearful!
I hear the arguments; they are pertaining to the fact that there is a
ballet studio next to the proposed sight. They found a place to put it
and now the Yucca Valley clan has decided that they can find something
to fight about and for that they dig around and come up with such
nonsense. That is the problem.
There is not any connection between people who are sick and perhaps
dying and need something to settle them down and contemplate their
lives. There is no connection whatsoever between that and the young,
budding ballerinas of Yucca Valley developing their talents!
Further, it is not the 5 percent riffraff that might wander into the
area where the clinic is proposed to be located, that will be trouble.
(I think this was one father of five girls' concern.) It's not that
there is some "fringe element" coming with the distributor center that
will bring trouble to the ballet studio, the girls or the town! It is
rather that the general citizenry is trying to make people who are in
pain and suffering and whose hair is falling out "put out in the
fringe" of our town because they simply need a herbal remedy to be
easily and readily available to help them out this time ... that is
bringing a dark cloud of trouble to Yucca Valley.
