NOTHING TO DO WITH MAKING SAFE CHOICES

Editor: The Herald RE: Dog To Teach The ABCs Of Avoiding Drugs (Herald,
Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009).

This has nothing to do with making safe choices, it is all about
obedience, and getting future generations accustomed to an ongoing and
ever-expanding police and military presence in their daily lives.

It should be illegal to send cops into schools to frighten and mislead
kids, but, no, we send military cops and their dogs in to teach kids about
something that is actually a health issue.

The police get these kids used to the dogs so that the kids won't make a
fuss when the dogs are later used to violate their civil, privacy and
Charter rights by sniffing them in their classes.

By the year 2030, the very notion of personal privacy will have been
"educated" right out of these kids' minds.

How and why parents and teachers allow this kind infectious police
infiltration into their education systems is a mystery to me. This
Orwellian indoctrination of their children to blindly obey police is
deeply disconcerting, especially when it is disguised as a "safety" issue.

If I had kids, I would home-school them to make sure they are kept safe
from police and their dogma.
