HEMP CAN SAVE THE WORLD

Re: "Like it or not, oilsands projects vital," (Lorrie Goldstein, Sept 17).

A quick Google search of the words "industrial hemp", and you realize
humans don't even need crude oil. Everything we use oil for can be
done with hemp, but it uses less water, causes less pollution, and
de-centralizes power away from the oil barons and back to the people.
If Alberta wants to thrive, grow more hemp instead of cow-food and
cows-for-food. But that won't happen. The oil lobby has so much
control over the world's governments the will of the people has been
relegated to history.
