SHOOTING INCIDENT DRAWS ATTENTION OF REGIONAL MEDIA
The shooting of the Rev. Jonathan Ayers has drawn the attention of
numerous regional media outlets.
The story has been portrayed prominently on Atlanta television
stations and the Atlanta Jounral-Constitution.
WSB-TV aired a report Monday from the home of Ayers grandaprents near
Homer.
WAGA-TV reporter Deidre Dukes broadcasat live from in front of The
Toccoa Record on Wednesday, Sept. 2, the day following the shooting
incident at the corner of Broad and Currahee streets.
The incident has also gained some national notoriety.
The Record has received letters to the editor about the shooting from
as far away as Madison, Wisc.,
