IF MARIJUANA IS SO 'BAD', THEN SHOW US THE PROOF
EDITOR, THE TIMES:
In a letter published on Aug. 18, Eric Myrholm suggests that marijuana
is a "harmful" drug.
To this I say, prove it!
Where, Mr. Myrholm, is the research that backs up your claim? It
simply does not exist.
Marijuana legalization advocates have enormous volumes of credible
research proving that pot is one of the most harmless drugs known to
mankind.
If Mr. Myrholm truly believes that "our brains are made for thinking"
then he will use his to separate myth from fact.
The web page, http://www.drugpolicy.org/marijuana/factsmyths/provides
references to the research and data forming the basis of the
conclusions stated there.
The vast majority of marijuana activists want safer communities.
Legalization would decimate the illegal drug trade as it did when
alcohol prohibition ended.
I sincerely hope that Mr. Myrholm will be able to break his addiction
to lies and myths. Our brains certainly don't need abuse from those!
