A SOLUTION TO POT, BUDGET PROBLEMS
"Pot is epidemic in state's parkland" (July 28):
The solution to this huge "multibillion-dollar" problem is obvious:
Instead of destroying the confiscated weed, the state should sell it
in proprietary marijuana dispensaries at a low price. This would
benefit consumers and damage the illegal trade while helping balance
the state budget.
Take it a step further, and we could have our prison population grow
the stuff - they have the experience.
