POT WILL GET TOO COSTLY

Oakland has increased the tax on marijuana at dispensaries. Soon, all
other cities will do the same. Then the counties will follow suit.
Eventually, the state will tax it.

Marijuana purchased at these dispensaries already is expensive. The
time will come when cardholders will be forced to buy on the street
again due to the expense of purchasing it legally. Taxing medications
for a diagnosed illness should not be used to fill budget gaps. Where
will it stop?
