TAX THE GREEN
As a retired police officer, I am unable to calculate how much taxing
marijuana would bring to Sacramento. I can say that public safety
will certainly be improved, as my profession stops wasting time
chasing the adult marijuana user and their supplier. Road patrol
could once again focus on the deadly DUI and reckless driver.
Detectives could catch more child molesters and other bad guys when
they are not flying around in helicopters looking for another green patch.
