WHAT THE DICKENS ARE THESE GUYS SMOKING?
Re: Marijuana found aboard fishing boat was from Mexico, police say, May 26
I had to laugh when I read RCMP Insp. Paul Nadeau's comment about a
fishing boat full of Mexican weed being destined for the Canadian
market: "Some people like domestic, some like imported," he said.
The much more likely scenario is that the cannabis bought for $500 a
kilo in Mexico was destined to be re-labelled as B.C. Bud and sold to
Americans at $1,800-plus a pound.
The other side of this seizure is that the RCMP is ensuring quality
and supporting the price of real Canadian produce in the world market.
Is this free trade or will the Americans want to charge duties?
