ALCOHOL MUCH MORE DANGEROUS

Thank you Mr. Roth for a letter of reasonable intelligence which is
sometimes rare in the Daily News.

I find it appalling that so much fuss (not to mention money, time,
manpower, etc.) is spent chasing the cultivators of a weed when a
much more damaging and dangerous drug (alcohol) is deemed OK.

I have nothing against alcohol but I have never heard of someone
smoking pot and then going home to beat up their wife.

Marijuana is a fairly harmless drug and should be treated that way.

I think it is time for us all to grow up and stop chasing the "evil weed".
