Letter writer Peter Peart assumes that because Ricky Williams is
articulate and can correctly use the word "predicate," "clearly, he
is no addict." Drug addicts can, of course, be articulate. Think of
Jack Kerouac, Graham Green, William Burroughs, Charles Bukowski,
Henry Miller, et al.
