MARIJUANA "DEBATE" ARTICLE ONE-SIDED

Your headline today reads "Marijuana debate." The article was
obviously for legalization. After all, two presidents have used it. It
is one thing to try it. Becoming addicted is another.

The accompanying photo was interesting. Wow — talk about second-hand
smoke!

I believe the law allows a child to be taken from a parent who smokes
while the child is in the car with her. Neighbors can sue neighbors
for second-hand smoke drifting into their yards, likewise with apartments.

We recently had a murder of a 17 year old in our area. Money and
marijuana were involved. How will minors and jobless people pay the
$50 tax per ounce without resorting to crime?

I don't think the U.S. will remain a great nation if it becomes a
nation of pot heads. Already, we are having enough difficulties with
millions (including corporations and politicians) sucking the
government tit. I hope to read future articles on the other side of
the debate.
