THE FUTILITY OF FREE DRUGS
Clyde Wright is right to say that support groups are needed for
addicts, but there are already groups available for free. That would
be Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. There is no job that
can accommodate a drug addiction. The more you make, the more you
spend on drugs. So offering free heroin or free crack pipes is not a
way to deter addicts.
And most of these people don't have a job because of this addiction.
Offer them all the free drugs they want and they will never work.
If you legalize all of these drugs, where is the incentive for those
addicted to them to recover? Their addiction has incapacitated them
and they will never be hired for a job.
