MAKE PRISON UNPLEASANT

It is time to take control and return our communities to safe environments.

This means providing police with the funding and equipment necessary
to protect society from thugs and murderers who couldn't care less
about law and order.

It means tougher guidelines requiring courts to impose much longer
sentences. It means

prisons abandon campus-style facilities, rehabilitation programs,
parole and conjugal visits. Our leaders must stop ignoring these
issues and do something.

If punishment is to work, it can't be pleasant.
