ITS NOT MARIJUANA THAT'S THE THREAT

Re: "Media not accurate on marijuana reports," (Letters, June 24):

It seems as though letter-writer Judie Mikulicich may not be aware of
the facts, insinuating cannabis (marijuana) or its delivery system is
unsafe. Fact is, the God-given plant cannabis is safer than 100
percent of the pharmaceutical medications available to humans. In
over 5,000 years of documented use, it hasn't killed a single human.

Further, many people know of cannabis as the biblical tree of life
and the very last page of the Bible indicates the leaves of the tree
of life are for the healing of the nations. That's safety on a
biblical scale. Safety even a cannabis prohibitionist can't argue with.
