POT ACTIVIST TAKES EXCEPTION TO STORY

To the editor: Re: Accused was calm enough to smoke a joint before
taking toddler to hospital, court told, Truro Daily News, Wednesday,
June 17:

If this guy had been having a beer out in the backyard while cooking
steaks, there would be no hubbub.

But since he shared a joint, well now his competence and sensibilities
fall into question. What balderdash.

A few tokes on a joint is not going to stupefy someone enough that they
can't deal with an emergency.

Kids get hurt sometimes. Kids die. But typical lawyers, cops and media
blame the devil weed marijuana!
