TAXING MARIJUANA A GOOD START
To the Editor:
I don't smoke pot or do any illegal drugs. Yet I support the zip tie
program and its not because I like the sheriff (yes it is true I do),
what we need is to start a regulation as to the growing of medical
marijuana and some simple taxation on a local level! May I also
suggest that the bags containing the medication have heat stamped
serial/ taxation numbers on them or bar codes! When it comes to John
Pinches and the legalization of marijuana, (yes I like Mr. Pinches we
have just started an acquaintance friendship) I don't like the idea
of legalizing marijuana, yet I personally feel that a commercial
growing license is I needed order. In the realm of a liquor license
to control the production of the future plantations going out of hand
in our county. Limitation is the key to the answer, here, packaging
and production control should have oversight as well. To insure
quality control. But then again I shall humble myself for I have no
insight or experience in this area, and should leave this to those that have.
