LEGALIZING MARIJUANA WOULD SAP A VALUABLE RESOURCE: OUR KIDS
Legalizing marijuana may or may not lead to harder drugs, but let us
not be deceived by its insidious effect.
As a teacher and parent, I observed how it affected our young people.
They became so apathetic and disinterested in life around them.
Marijuana gave them a false sense of security, and consequently, they
were unable to focus on the task at hand and lacked purpose and a
desire to achieve goals.
If marijuana is legalized, our country would ultimately lose a
valuable resource. The brain reacts to all forms of stimuli, and young
brains will suffer the consequences. We need strong minds and bodies
to keep America strong.
