SHIFT FOCUS OF 'WAR' FROM DRUGS TO ABUSE

Interesting to read about the Supreme Court's decision not to hear San
Bernadino's "complaint" about medical marijuana use and then hearing
about Florida reporting the high level of deaths caused by abuse of
prescription drugs. Could San Bernardino really be unaware that the
dangers of medical marijuana are minimal as compared to the side
effects and addiction of pain killers? Isn't it time that we
relinquished our "war" on drugs and focused on abuse? Drug abuse,
alcohol abuse, spousal abuse, water abuse ... we are the only ones able
to control this problem; no laws can do it for us.
