CASE IS MADE FOR LEGALIZATION OF MARIJUANA

Randy Young (Letter: Who Are These Dimwitted Drug Buyers? May 21,
2009) unintentionally made a credible argument for legalizing and
regulating illegal substances; to make them safer. Millions of North
Americans buy cannabis (marijuana), the most used illegal substance
in existence. As a matter of supply and demand and the fact that the
relatively safe, God-given plant cannabis is here to stay, it should
be immediately re-legalized and regulated. Millions of citizens are
using the plant, the money is changing hands either way. Presently,
taxes and safety are lost, crime is growing and prohibitionists are
happy, but all that can change with intelligent credible drug law reform.
