POT MARCH DRAWS HEAT
On Saturday, for the fifth year in a row, hundreds of Calgarians
marched to protest the prohibition of cannabis. As in years previous,
there was no property damage and no one was injured in any way.
Edmonton's march had only one police officer attend and he quickly
left. Why is it then that the Calgary Police Service found it
necessary to send 20 officers and the HAWCS helicopter? All in all, a
disgusting waste of our tax dollars and scarce police resources.
