Re: Proposed Drug Laws Come Under Fire At Hearings, May 4.

The Tory drug policy will increase crime. Mandatory sentences will
scare off the mom-and-pop pot growers who offer direct market
competition to the big-time gang growers. With the small growers gone,
there will be more customers and bigger profits for the gangsters, and
that will lead to more violence and crime. The police and government
will then use this inevitable increase in crime to justify even bigger
police budgets and powers, further usurping of civil rights and
liberties and more jails.

The War On Certain Drugs was never meant to be won.
