MEDICAL MARIJUANA COULD HELP MANY ILL MINNESOTANS

Please contact your state legislator and our Gov. Tim Pawlenty and ask
them to vote and immediately implement Senate Bill 97 and House Bill
292.

These bills are nearing a vote. If passed, they will legalize medical
marijuana in Minnesota and will give a better quality of life to our
terminally ill Minnesotans who are presently suffering massive nausea
from chemotherapy or wasting away with HIV-AIDS and other terminal
illnesses.

At present, more than one-third of Americans living in 25 percent of
our states can use medical marijuana under a physician's supervision
to ease their pain and suffering. It is only fair that your ill fellow
Minnesotans can be allowed the same right.

In 1999, a report commissioned by the Office of National Drug Control
Policy on the direction of President Clinton found, "For patients who
suffer simultaneously from severe pain, nausea and appetite loss, such
as those with AIDS or who are undergoing chemotherapy, cannabinoid
drugs" such as marijuana, "might offer broad-spectrum relief not found
in any other single medication."

Visit www.Minnesota-Medical-Marijuana.com to learn the facts and to
use our easy system on the top of our home page to find and e-mail
your state representatives and Pawlenty.

Please remind them in a recent KSTP/Survey USA Poll, almost two-thirds
of all Minnesotans respondents supported the legal use of medical marijuana.

We know especially if you, a friend or a family member has undergone
chemotherapy, you know the urgent humanitarian need for our Minnesota
Legislature to immediately pass and Pawlenty to sign this
compassionate bill so that medical marijuana can be used legally under
a doctor's supervision also here in Minnesota.
