LEGAL INSANITY
After reading the disheartening Sunday Province story: "Cop acts in
bad faith so all charges dismissed," I received some comic relief
reading the humorous opinion of Dan Murphy: "Reassuring Americans,"
regarding comments made by U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet
Napolitana.
Should Napolitana read both of these items, I think she would find
them equally humorous.
Kudos to Const. Ken Winters of Golden RCMP for doing a fine job in
stopping this rental car and discovering this weapon and drugs.
I only hope he and other diligent officers won't be discouraged by
this legal insanity.
