DREW CAREY IS RIGHT ABOUT POT

Drew Carey deserves praise for speaking out against the federal
government's senseless war on medical marijuana patients ["Carey
defends medical marijuana online," Newsday com, Nov. 2].

When it comes to medical marijuana, the federal government is way out
of step with public opinion and science. Carey is simply doing what
good comedians do: He's saying what we're all thinking.
