LEGALIZE DRUGS, STOP BORDER VIOLENCE
There is a way to stop the chaos in Mexico and along our border and
reduce our national debt. We should legalize drugs.
That would remove the drug cartels' and the gangs' cash cow. It would
free up our courts, prisons and police. The multi-decade war on drugs
has been futile. Prohibition didn't work with alcohol and it hasn't
worked with drugs.
Tax and control drugs, as we do alcohol and cigarettes. This would
produce significant tax revenue and reduce crime.
