PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Kudos to Jon Ferry for stating the not-so-obvious and painful to
those who feel personal freedoms outweigh the responsibility we all
carry for the comfort and safety of our fellow citizens.

The tendency to normalize drug-taking and addiction as a viable
lifestyle shows how ineffective our society has become in failing to
deal with the meaninglessness in people's lives that leads to such degradation.

Nothing exists in a vacuum, all is connected.

Ask yourself how much that harmless joint, those lines at the party,
the bite of ecstasy at the club last night contributes to the mayhem,
horror and sorrow of drug-fuelled gang warfare.
