STATE SHOULD LEGALIZE POT

I think Gov. Rendell has hit on a real winner of an idea, to change
the law and allow video poker machines in bars and other businesses.
It would generate much money in taxes for such a good cause.

Now, why don't we use that same logic that he is using to legalize
marijuana. After all, marijuana users are all around, so why not just
legalize it and tax and regulate it? Look at all the money in taxes
that could be collected.

The even bigger benefit from such legalization would be fewer people
in prison. Also, it would make the drug cartels and smugglers
irrelevent, thus reducing much violent crime.

Let's stop making criminals of casual marijuana users and start
making tax dollars from them.
