LEGALIZE MARIJUANA

Re "Seeing benefits of legalizing weed" (Tom Hennessy column, March
8):

I couldn't agree more regarding the legalization of marijuana. Let's
legalize it, control it and tax it.

If we take it out of the hands of drug dealers we get it off of the
streets and out of the hands of underage kids. Bedsides, look how well
Prohibition worked. Once alcohol was made legal again, all the
bootlegging stopped.
