PROHIBITION DOING MORE HARM THAN GOOD

"Bill C-15 will increase profits for organized crime written in the
Thursday, March 5, 2009 issue of The News Review provides honest
commentary on the subject.

Considering Bill C-15 will also cause the number of clandestine grower
operations and drug labs to increase, cause more street violence, more
corruption and do absolutely nothing to prevent young people from
using, one has to seriously wonder if government and organized crime
aren't in cahoots on this; especially since illicit drugs and
cannabis, in particular, are now more available than ever.

Government's refusal to acknowledge the harm brought about by the
prohibition of cannabis is both irresponsible and foolhardy; it brings
all government agencies into disrepute.

But there is something particularly nauseating about deceitful
prohibitionist shills alternatively sniveling and snarling about
protecting children, what messages are sent and safeguarding
communities amidst it all.
