POT AND THE LAW

Yes, I said it: No on decriminalization. What is it with the cowardly
act?

To just decriminalize the possession of cannabis is to ignore our
worst part of prohibition -- that it leaves the criminals in charge.

What is up with law enforcement? Are they still pretending that they
have any control of the drug trade?

To continue the present policy, is to support keeping criminals in
charge.

It's just that simple.

We now have drugs available everywhere, so it's not like the
prohibition has worked.

I'm just saying that, I for one think that a change in policy is way
past due. Just legalize what is already happening, that way our
officials would really be in control.

They would then decide who would sell and to whom, control strength
and purity, tax sales to adults in a free country, instead of another
trillion dollars wasted.

Listen, folks, no matter your beliefs, you can't think that criminals
being in charge is a good idea.

And if our officials keep telling us that to legalize is bad and sends
the wrong message, what do they think the message is when they keep
criminals in charge?
