DRUG POLICY AS PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUE
In response to Ron Dionne (Letters, March 3) on the subject of
legalizing a drug, just replace the words "meth" with Ritalin,
"cocaine" with medical grade cocaine, and "heroin" with morphine or
any other drug available by prescription to see how the future would
be different if we approach drug policy as a public health problem
rather than as a criminal justice issue.
