END PROHIBITION, END DRUG PROBLEMS
Re: "Drug court offers a solution for city," Jun. 12.
Our grandparents must have been a lot smarter than we are. They
didn't waste time setting up "booze courts" when they realized that
prohibiting alcohol was causing more harm than good. They simply
ended alcohol prohibition.
We should do likewise because the best way of reducing the harm and
heartbreak inflicted by illegal drugs on users and non-users alike is
to end drug prohibition.
