STONERS, NOT PICNICKERS
Tom Ammiano's proposed legislation to legalize and tax sales of
marijuana in the state offers the city a way out of its fiscal woes.
Just as the city imposes a sales surtax, it could impose an
additional surtax on pot sales.
With this "green tax," Rec and Park won't have to place those
barbaric parking meters in Golden Gate Park. Tax stoners, not picnickers!
