ADVICE IGNORED
Another great column by Mindelle Jacobs. ("Drug trade at heart of
violence," Feb. 27.) Sound advice. Sure to be ignored by police and
politicians everywhere. What it's all about is job security. By
pretending to have a war on some drugs, it artificially keeps crime
up and the cops and politburo busy. Judging by how the Robert
Dziekanski case is going, I can't see change happening until the old
power mongers are booted, or die. Politicians in Canada have no
backbone. And the police are untrustworthy. Nice combo.

(Maybe you should run for office on the 'legalize drugs' platform.)
