POT TAX LIKELY WOULD BE WASTED

Remember the lottery and how it was supposed to help fund our schools?
A good idea at the time, but somehow when you give government a
revenue stream, it manages to squander it. In the case of pot, we
would most likely be impressed by the taxes brought in but lament the
extra costs for social programs. There is no drug on this planet that
can't be abused. Not all people are the same, but some of us will be
more susceptible to the negative properties of pot. Among the reasons
for the budget shortfall is the number of people dependent on state
government. Do we really need to add more?
