CAPITAL PUNISHMENT THE ANSWER
The escalating deadly violence being perpetrated by gangs in this
country is causing major concern to any thinking person. The drug
culture they perpetuate is destroying thousands of lives every year in
both body and soul. And there is the ever growing occurrence of
innocent victims getting caught in cross-fire as these evil morons
spray bullets in public places. One could go on and on about the vast
amount of crime directly related to drugs and gangs but here's the
thing.
These people have no problem performing capital punishment on other
people as a means of protecting their market share (turf). And if your
wife or child is gunned down in the cross-fire, oh well (unexpected
business expense.) So the answer is quite simple. Give them a healthy
dose of their own sub-culture. Bring back capital punishment, round
these people up and kill them. Of course the lawyers wouldn't like
this because repeat offenders bring them in a continual supply of
legal business. But that is part of my point here. When a gun toting
psychopath is executed, there will be no repeat offence.
We really don't need more cops on the street. They already know who the
gangsters and crooks are and they know where to find them. If
gangsters really had something to be afraid of, they would either curb
their behavior or go somewhere else.
Canada has to wake up and realize you can't combat guns and violence
with tougher jail sentences. Most of our jails already have "no
vacancy signs" at the front door as it is. If we start giving out
longer sentences our jails would soon burst at the seams!
A crook doing some "jail time" can be likened to any apprentice trades
person doing "collage time" to improve their skills in their chosen
occupation. They share knowledge and techniques with each other and
come out more skilled.
I for one have absolutely no faith in our justice system and courts. I
liken them to a fool who shows up at a gun fight armed only with a
wagging finger and stern lecture. It doesn't work. And I really don't
think extra jail space and more police on the streets will do anything
other than increase our tax burden and endanger our privacy as we move
closer to a police-state situation. Until we get the political will to
execute murderers and drug dealers, I can only see the problem of
street crime and violence getting worse and worse.
