IMAGE PROVES PHELPS IS NOT PERFEC, JUST HUMAN
In response to all the hype regarding Michael Phelps and his fall from
the grace of the same Americans he carried all the way to the
Olympics. He didn't wake up on the first day of the games and smoke a
blunt and say, "Hey, I think I'll go and represent this country
against the world's greatest athletes today."
That young man had many years in which he sacrificed his social life,
trained and worked out while his peers were enjoying the last years of
their youth. He pushed himself beyond the limits because that's what
it takes to stand in the winner's circle. It's too bad a sports hero
can't take a private moment to himself without some jerk having to
snap off a picture and run straight to the bank!
Get a life! Phelps has apologized for using bad judgment, but the way
I see it he's achieved the highest honor an athlete can achieve and if
he wants to take advantage of the calming effects of marijuana at the
end of the day, maybe people in the land of the free and home of the
brave should lighten up and mind their own business!
