TAX MARIJUANA

I read Kathleen Parker's recent piece on the drug reform debate and
want to add my comment: In our economy we need all the help we can
get. Marijuana is the nation's largest cash crop and not a red cent is
taxed.

If the government taxed and regulated marijuana we would see billions
and billions of tax dollars rolling in. Taxed and regulated marijuana
would also have age limits making it harder for kids to get.

In its 5,000 years as a mild intoxicant marijuana has never caused and
overdose death. Have we learned nothing form the prohibition of booze?
Tax and regulate marijuana.
