DOESN'T MAKE MUCH SENSE TO THROW PEOPLE IN JAIL FOR 'VICTIMLESS' CRIMES
Editor, The Times:
Eric Myrholm's Jan. 30 letter, Legalizing everything that's wrong
won't ever lead us to Utopian living, asks why not legalize speeding
or disobey stop signs?
The answer is because with speeding or running stop signs, people
become harmed; there is a victim.
When someone smokes a joint or purchases a bag of marijuana, there is
no victim. With most other drugs it's the same; there is no victim.
