POLITICAL URINE
Re: 'Inmates conning us over drugs,' Point of View, Paul Rutherford, Feb.
11.
Inmates aren't partying, they are desperately trying to alleviate the
misery of being in jail. And since the programs designed to
rehabilitate inmates and turn them into reliable citizens is woefully
inadequate, they do whatever they can to get by. Who wouldn't? I
think, before we start urine testing inmates, we should make guards,
police officers and especially federal politicians submit to daily
drug testing.
They hold all the power, and I for one, will not feel safe until I
know what is in the blood streams of our elected officials and
security personnel.
