RESPECT GOES TO POT
I had respect for U.S. Olympic champion Michael Phelps ("Phelps'
event swims uphill," Feb. 4) for obvious reasons. When I heard Phelps
smoked cannabis (marijuana) in his private life, I gained more
respect for him. But when I heard Phelps apologized for using the
relatively safe, socially acceptable, God-given plant cannabis, I
lost respect for him.
