MICHAEL PHELPS DRUG CHARGE THREAT

SHAMED Olympic swimming star Michael Phelps was last night facing
possible PROSECUTION --after a US police chief revealed he was
considering charging the eight-times gold medallist.

South Carolina Sheriff Leon Lott, in charge of policing the area where
Phelps smoked a bong, said: "If someone breaks the law in Richland
County we have an obligation as law enforcement to investigate and to
bring charges."

American Phelps, 23, who we exposed last week, said his antics were
"stupid", and added: "This won't happen again."
